I have a 1997 chevy 3500 daully w/ a 6.5L turbo desiel w/ 85,000 miles. The problem I am having is when I am driving down the road w/ the air on after a while, approximatley 40 mins. As I last noticed the air will still sound like it is blowing like mad but noting is coming out of any vents. The only way to get the air to start coming out the vents again is to shut the truck off for about 10-15 mins. In my mind I vision a air duct damper shutting and freezing up and when I shut it off I feel as it thaws out to let it operate again. Thats just my thought. Any info would be greatly appreciated as I have had this truck to the dealership here three times in the last two years and they havent got a clue.
thanks dennis

I would try removing the blower motor and look for something blocking the ducts. I cant think of any one door that can block all air coming out of the vents
