2000 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 140XXX miles

I HAVE A 2000 CHEVY K2500 4X4 WITH A 350. I WAS OUT PLAYING IN THE MUD EARLIER IN THE WEEK AND MY TRUCK SEEMS LIKE IT HAS BURNT THE CLUTCH UP. I CAN PUT THE TRUCK IN GEAR JUST FINE BUT WHEN I REV THE ENGINE MY TIRES DO NOT SPIN AT ALL. MY CLUTCH WAS SLIPPING A LITTLE UNDER HEAVY THROTTLE BEFORE THIS DUMB ADVENTURE IN THE MUD. IM NOT TO SAVVY ON TRANSMISSIONS SO ANY INFORMATION OR STARTING POINTS YOU CAN GIVE WILL BE HELPFUL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

Hi there,

I feel that you have destroyed the clutch, if you were experiencing some slippage before this adventure, I would say that this was the straw that broke the camels back so to speak, get the clutch replaced.
