I had a blow out on my left rear tire, and I kept driving on the rim for about two blocks. The rim had a small dent on it so I had to replace it but when I try to drive it only the right rear wheel turns the left rear is locked up and won't turn.

Hi mrmag64,

Thank you for the donation.

I would require additional information to analyse the problem so can you please kindly provide accordingly.

Is the rim the correct size?
While changing the wheel, did you notice any damage to the brake system?
Is the rear brakes disc or drum?
Does applying the park brake feel any different after the incident?

Yes the replacement rim is the correct size, the parking brake seems to working correctly, there does not appear to be any damage to any of the brake system, and it has drum brakes on the rear.

Hi mrmag64,

Thank you for the additional information.

The most probable cause should be the rear brakes and I would suggest removing the drums to check the brake shoes and its adjustment.

If the brake pedal feels lower than it previously was, the brake lining might have detached from the shoes.
