Hello, I have a 1989 Chevy 1500 Z71 350 Fuel Injected Throttle Bodied Engine and a Automatic Transmission and I'm having a problem out of it and I need help. It has a bad miss in it, and it feels like it is only hitting on six plugs instead of eight when I race the motor up. And a little chirp or popping noise comes from around either the Throttle body or the driver side cylinder head. I've checked the spark plugs and the second and third one on the driver side is fouled out not firing and when I pull a hill in it, it loses power and the sound gets worst. Thank You Very Much.

Compression test the engine...the sound you hear sound like backfires through the intake? if so, you may have a flat camshaft but the compression test should be done first so we don't chase our tail and head in the wrong direction to fix it. Please go over this guide.
