I have a 1987 chevy truck with 165,000 miles, 5.7liter Fuel injected engine. It has a th400 transmission. The engine is only 3 years old with about 16000 miles. I have recently replaced the Distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. I also replaced the coil all from a summit tune up kit. My problem is the injectors are not spraying fuel. I have verified that gas is getting to the TBI unit. It ran briefly after doing the tune up but shut off and now will not start.

Yeah bro I have a 1987 and had the same problem, you said you replaced the Distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires what about the control module and the pick up coil. You might want to check those as well, you can take the control module to autozone or whatever and they can check it but the pick up coil you have to do yourself but I would check those. On mine the control module was bad which caused it not to start so you might want to check just in case, and even the emcb fuses under the dash as well.
