Brakes problem
1971 Chevy Truck V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am having trouble getting one of my brake lights to work. It is not the bulb. Can it be the sensor?

Welcome, check voltage and ground wires at the socket. Orange is voltage, black is ground. If that checks out, maybe the bulb isn't making good contact with the socket. In the past, I have used a blob of grease on the end of bulb, to help it make contact. May not be the proper fix, but sometimes it works.
