On my trailblazer, I am having problems with the starter not making connection, sometimes my car starts fine and other times I cannot get it to make a connection to start, the panel lights will not even come on and I have to just keep trying to get it off and on and finally it will make connection. It is not a battery problem, it is not even turng over, it is like a bad light switch, sometimes it will come on and another time it will not.I have taking it back and the problem there is it seems to always start for them or so they say, Out of a bout 6 times you try to start it, it usually does not start about 3 times out of the 6 times.I am worried soon or later my luck is going to run out and I am not going to be able to get it started. It seems like when it rains or damp, it messes up more than when it is a pretty day. Please help. Thank You very much. Linda Farley

Welcome to the forum, thanks for the donation. Is your warranty still good? If you work on anything, will it effect your warranty? There is a starter relay, underhood fuse box. With the key in the crank position, two terminals should be hot. Voltage for the load side of relay is hot all the time. Voltage for coil side of relay, goes hot with key in the crank position. Use a testlite, you need to test when starter refuses to crank.
