2005 Chevy Trailblazer Cold and electrical system

When my truck is cold and I hit the breaks and turn on the signals the head lights blink what can that be the mech. Have looked at it and said we cant find a problem. I was thinking that it was an alt. Or the bat please help

Probably a bad turn signal (multifunction) switch.

Its when either I hit the breaks or I turn on the signal they dim and then come back
