2004 Chevy Trailblazer missing

when the truck gets to 50- 65 mph it starts missing and the rpm's drop from 2000 to 1500 until brake is hit or speed goes above 70mph then the rpm's go back up to 2000.................. what could this be???

Check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge, remove and inspect the fuel pressure vacuum line, if gas is present, then change it.

There are several TSB's (technical service bulletins) concerning misfires and poor performance.

Describe the symptoms to GM service and see if they know what it is and if it is a free fix.
