2001 Chevy Tracker Changing gears
Transmission problem
2001 Chevy Tracker Automatic 95000 miles
When moving from one gear to another (Park to Reverse/Reverse to Drive) the slots feel mushy and the gear shift does not click into place...now everything from Reverse down is basically neutral...what is wrong with it and how much is this going to cost?

well it sounds like the problem is your Shifting cable. If it is you shifting cable then it is streched out. It shouldn't cost that much maybe like 40-50 dollars. Just buy a new one and look up for to change it.
