I have 2002 Chevy Tahoe 85,000 miles and it has four-wheel drive. It has the 5.3 litre vortec motor. It has 4 wheel disk brakes and I need to know how to go about replacing the front and rear pads, and front and rear rotors and what special tools are needed to perform this job.

This is a very easy operation, but dont take it lightly you depend on them to stop you so take your time, 1st remove all 4 wheels, remove the mater cylinder cap I like to start on the left front, pull the caliper use a coat hanger to hold it up on the shock so the line doesnt stretch, if you dont have a pad spreader get one, they are cheap and worth it, use the old inner pad and pad tool to depress caliper piston once its backed in remove the caliper stand and pull the rotor off and replace it them the caliper stand and finally put your new pads in and hang the caliper and thats one down, basic hand tools metric sockets and a pad tool is all you need when you get done all 4 check the brake fluid level and replace the cap, the rear brakes are ven easier to do, if you need more help let me know
