Where can I find the throttle plate on my 2001 Chevy Tahoe? I was told if I clean it the gas pedal will stop sticking.

Remove the air intake tube (large diameter hose going from air filter housing to the top of the engine). Expose the throttle body on the intake. Open the throttle you will see the throttle plate open. Use a small tooth brush and some throttle body cleaner with the engine off spray small amounts on tooth brush and scrub the throttle body and plate. Make sure to get a black carbon build up out. You may have to start vehicle and repeat a few times if exessive carbon is found.
