My 2001 Tahoe has the 4wd service light on. Read the code, nothing. Only the history code section had CO367. I actually changed the selector switch in the cab and the actuator on the front axle. Still the same issue. The 4wd light is on, the the 4wd lights are lit on the switch (2wd, 4hi, 4lo auto 4wd, neutral) and I can hear the switch clicking constantly. Do I need to change the shift control module inside/under the dash? I just want to make sure that is it and be done wasting money. Why is the 4wd service light on and no code can be read?

You probably need to change the push button control module on the dash. Samething happened to mine as well.
