1998 Chevy Suburban driver's side door

My driver's side door handle has stopped working. I have taken the door panel off and looked at the assembly. It appears that the "knob" on the handle that should trigger the latch has been worn off. Do I need to get a whole new assembly, or is there a fix that I am not thinking of?

You will need to replace it go to www. Rockauto. Com they have them really cheap.
