93 Suburban, While driving the ABS light will come on and the transmission feels like it is out of gear, I let up on the throttle and the trans engages again, the ABS light stays on. What do I need to be looking at for this problem?

I don't think they are connected but you have a major tranny problem for sure. Take it to a reliable tranny shop and let them check it out. I hope you have checked you fluid level as it will cause the same problem.
