In the past few months my truck has been running funny. It runs fine on cold starts till it warms up and when I'm going about 30 or 40 miles an hour as I get into the throttle it starts to miss untill I hit the gas petal harder. I also notice a slight hessitation from a stop. I have recently change plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, and oil. I hear it could be anything.

You will need to find out if you have a lean condition. Sounds like a possibe upper intake is sucking vacuum and causing to much air in the engine. You can tell tis by using a scan tool that reads data and reading the fuel trims. You will want them around 0%. If it is negative such as -17% you will have a lean condition.

77, I just went and crunk the engine and I did notice a hissing noise comming from the the top of the engine around the cover with Vortex written on it, I think your wright about a vacuum problem. Although I did not see and disconected hoses.
