Is there any way to check coil pack from my house? The truck became hard to start. Was able to put a booster charge and start. Found negative cable loose. Replaced and still hard to start. Checked fuel pressure and is around 45 psi. The fuel pump was replaced 3 years ago. I can start it with a booster, butr not by itself. The truck turns over fine. To me, it seems electrical.

Get the battery and alternator load tested-if its the coil packs I don't think it will start.

Type of fuel injection system?

Battery and alternator checked fine. That was number on the list. Fuel pressure is around 40-45. Book says 60-65. I can put a boost and it will start. I changed the fuel pump about three yesrs ago.

Check the power at the fuel pump connector could be voltage drop causing it-check the ground to it to include the main ground upfront
