I have a 1996 Chevy silverado vortech 350 5.7 miles:150,056 I noticed my heater wasnt blowing hot so I new I had a water leak I checked all of the hoses and they werent leakin so I was looking under the hood and in the middle of the manifold and the valve cover I seen water coming out and I was wondering if it was a intake manifold gasket or what?

Sorry I just read this and dont know if youv made a fix yet. The chevy vortechs as well as the 2800 or use a plasic intake runner gasket embossed with rubber. Thes gaskets shrink and crack leading to leaks. The proper fix is a Fel-pro gasket made of steel and embossed with silicone, I dont know the part# sorry. Also look closely at the heater hose fitting, these pieces are cast from cheap pot-metal and are prone to breaking off in the manifold. Napa sells a steel piece to fix this as well.
