Welcome to the forum, any trouble codes? Take the throttle-body off and clean it. Maybe Issue with iac system? Use a gage and check fuel pressure.

I am working on a 93 that has the same problem. Will run great for a few days and then will not hardly run at all. The exhaust system had been completely replaced on the truck before I started working on it. If u pump the accelerator when it tries to die, you can keep it running. So hard to find these intermittent problems. No codes on scan. When u hook it up to computer, it shows everything working correctly.

I agree with you, intermittent issues can be hard to track down. You have to do the testing when the problem is ongoing or you can't find anything.
