Hydrolic clutch pressure problem

I've got a '92 S10 with the 4.3L engine and 120k miles. A couple days ago the hydrolic brake wore thru and the fluid leaked out. After repairing the line, I haven't been able to get pressure built up at the clutch pedal. I've bled the system but not been able go get any noticable pressure at the slave cylinder. If I pump the pedal rapidly in short strokes, I hear the sound of moving fluid in a cylinder mounted on the fire wall that is about an inch dia. And 3 inches long. What is this cylinder and do you have any idea what may be wrong.

Just recently I had to replace my hydraulic clutch in my 95 s10. That part that you are refferring to is the master cylinder for the clutch I do believe. The only way to get pressure would be to bleed your clutch line with another person. It took me about 20min. Of pummping and bleeding before I got any noticible pressure. The only other thing that I can say is that you want to make sure that as your are doing this you will want to keep your fluid levels high. Once you don't get any more air coming out of the bleeder then let it sit for about 30 min and then you should be fine.
