2003 Chevy S-10 overheating

Engine Cooling problem
2003 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 110k miles

I recently flushed (store bought cleaner sytem) the coolant, radiator, and changed the thermostat. After a week the truck started to overheat (220-260 degree fluctuations). I assumed air had built up in the system ; however, I have tried running the engine with the radiator cap off until the thermostat opened and even running with the cap on but not locked. I could not locate any "bleed" pressure release points on the coolant system. Is there anything I can do?

Fill your bottle to a little above the hot level. Install a new radiator cap as these go bad often. Drive it for a couple of days and see if your level goes down a little. That will work the air out of the system. Also you can buy a product for slight overheats. I forget what they call it at the moment.
Auto parts store carry it.
