Today, my dad got a P0303 code.
I checked the spark plug, and cleaned it, then cleared the code (Scanguage II).
Got the code again.
Switched that spark plug with the one next to it. Cleared the code again.
Code came back.

The engine shakes badly. The exhaust blows then sucks.

The driver's side motor mount seems loose or broken (he had all mounts replaced last August 2007 - 17,000 miles ago).

He has Bosch +4 platinum spark plugs.

He doesn't remember ever having the distributor cap & wires replaced. He bought the truck with 40K miles on it.

He also is a 2-step driver (step on the gas, step on the brake), and tows a 2500-3000 pound boat intermittently.

Aside from the physical broken motor mount (it appears), what could be the most likely cause?

He took it to the dealer. They can't get to it until 6-10-08.
