My s10 has started to hesitate. I am not to sure what it can be. I recently went through some repairs which included: replaced the fuel regulator 2mo. Ago, new fuel pump 6mo. Ago, head gasket 6mo. Ago. I did receive the code for injector problem.I think it was code 200. Can it be the PCM or do you think it could be the injectors? I did pull the spark plugs out to check them. The were a little black but one spark plug was not dirtier than another. Any suggestions? Thanx joe

Hi josephaugust,

Thank you for the donation.

P0200 = Injector Control circuit.

Thsi proble could possibly be the injectors, its wiring circuit or PCM.

Sooty plugs indicates excessive fuel and incomplete combustion while the clean plug could be firing correctly or lean or not firing at all.

Swap the injectors and after running for some distance, recheck and if problem is still from the same cylinder, the PCM would be the likely suspect.
