1996 Chevy S-10 dash lights and tail lights out

1996 Chevy S-10 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 90 467 miles

All my dash lights and my tail lights don't come on. Is there a fuse box under the hood somewhere. Or should I be looking for something else?
BUT WHERE IS THE FUSE LOCATED? ALL THE FUSES IN THE DASH ARE OK. IS THERE A FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD SOMEWHERE?
