1995 Chevy S-10 4 wheel drive will not engauge

Front wheel will not engauge
no current to front diff

Check the vacuum lines to the front axle actuator (located near the battery). If you shift into 4X4 and don't have vacuum to the line on it then the problem is likely the vacuum switch on the transfer case. It isn't hard to change. If you do have vacuum then you will need to check the cable and the actuator fork itself for operation.
