Hi. 1999 Blazer, V6, AT, 4WD.

I have been having transmission problems after I have been driving for 30+mins. It shifts hard into 2nd and sometime it engine starts reving up while I stay at the same speed. I am not leaking any fluid and it is at the proper level. I heard that it might be the valve body/ TCC or something related to the valve body. My check engine light is on and I get the code P1870. My service 4WD light is on also. Any ideas on what I can do to fix it? Thanks a lot!

Daddy used to work on Uncle Jeb's blazer like yours. He says it might be a TCC but That a real tugg code to figure out sometimes. He says he ran into a poor internal ground into the VCM. He said there a couple valves that might have "debris" in em.
