I have a 2000 Chevrolet tracker. After the car runs for about 15 minutes and you have to idle at stops, the car acts like it is overheating and dies. It runs fine as long as you are not stopping and going. It takes 20 to 30 minutes for the car to be able to start. Then it sputters and acts like it is flooded at first. Then all of a sudden it starts. Can you tell me anything to help me figure out what it is? It 110, 00 miles on it.

If your Tracker has an electric cooling fan, see if it is coming on, try turning on the a/c to see if it works at all

The a/c does work. My son put it on one of the testers a few months back and he said it read something about a sensor but he couldn't remember what it said. Do you have any idea what he might have been talking about? I have someone who can repair it for less since I am a single mother and I really can't afford to have a major repair done at a shop.
