1974 Chevy Nova ignition

My engine when it gets hot won't turn off, iwas wandering if it is the ignition how do I replace the switch?

You probably have a run-on which is also called dieseling-Drop your idle speed and make sure the fast idle cam is not binding if it continues we'll use a different approach. Good Luck
