Welcome, usually the problem is the resistor assembly. I'd go ahead and check the hvac blower fuse and circuit for voltage, circuit goes hot, when you turn on the key, use a testlite.

Under the passenger side dash, You'll probably have to remove lower part of dash, use your own initiative on the dash. Number 7 in the picture is the connector for the resistor assembly.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
