1997 lumina V6, 116,450 miles, the hot light kept coming on, and the heater don't work. Took to a shop said it was the head gasket, but it wasn't. Then they said water is leaking internally. What could the problem be??

Intake manifold gasket most likley. Real common on these. When the coolant level drops, the heater core is emptied out, thus no heat. Don't fool around with this, get it fixed asap before the engine is ruined.
