1997 Chevy Lumina V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i bought this car for my son it ran good, after we bought it when we started it, it would run shakey as if runnung out of gas, but once warmedup it was good. Then on my way home it started shaking stalling out as if out of gas. Then stalled out and would not turn over. It was not over heated it has oil.
