1996 Chevy Lumina V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 170000 miles

I was driving along and the van was running normally when suddenly it started running rough then stalled. It would start again but ran very rough then stall again. Now it starts for a minute or two and runs quite rough then stalls. Any ideas?
