Hi there,

my car coolent reserve tank level is going down every 3 weeks, I need to fill, every three weeks.

2 years ago I went Mr. Lube for oil change they asked me flushing and they changed collent green instead of orange, after that I can see the mud on the collent tank.

after one year, I went another mechanic to do flushing they did, again same problem. The third time I changed my self opened valve under the car empted the tank filled the new orange collent recommended by chevy, after that I am having the problem. Again the problem is collent is changing the colour and I need to refill the reserve tank every 3 weeks. Please what is the cause for changing the color and reserve tank empty every 3 week. Please help me. Thank you in advance

regards

Here's the million dollar question. Where is the coolant going? I do not recommend Dex-Cool. Going with the plain green coolant is the way to go.

Do this, have a cooling system pressure test done and look for any disguised leaks. Once you have dealt with that, I WANT YOU TO HAVE A COMPLETE
COOLANT TRANSFUSION. The green and orange may have mixed to some degree and that's not good. They are two totally different acid technologies.

Go to www. Bgfindashop. Com and put in your zip. Call a shop and ask for the BG coolant transfusion.
