I bought this car with 52,000 on it. The oil problem just started about 700 miles ago. The car is using or burning about 2 quarts of oil at 500miles. It does not leak the oil, and there is no smoke coming out of the exhaust.
The car was never driven much before I bought it and I drive it often and long distances at about 60mph.

I assure you that the engine either leaks oil or it is burning it. Pull the spark plugs and look at them. Oil consumption wil be obvious by looking at the plugs.
Oil can be leaking somewhere on the engine and either blowing back under the car or burning up before it gets to the ground. Crawl under the car with a flash light and look for an oil leak. A car that has been sitting a long time will tend to have gaskets and seals dry up and begin to leak. Just because there may not be any oil on the ground does not mean that the oil is not leaking, it just means that the oil has not gotten to the ground yet.
Check the valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, oil filter adapter o-ring (located where the oil filter screws in), engine main oil seal -- etc. Etc.
