Heater problem
1995 Chevy Lumina 6 cyl Automatic 130000 miles

First I would like to say im sorry for saying that you all did not respond to my question you did but I did not check back in the correct place for the answer and your answer would have saved me from the mistake I just made. First of all my lumina is a 1995 not a 2005, next I let my ex put in the stuff that you put in to make the air I think I have aleak. Once he put that in the next day he said that the driver side fan stop working the air was blowing cold. But the fans stop working, then he flushed the radiator out with water now the car runs hot as soon as I crank it up, he is coming to look at it thursday please give me or let me know what he did wrong and what should be done at this point. Thanks you

Hello -

To better assist you please tell me if your model is just a Lumina, or the APV or the LS. Also the engine size in liter and the 8th digit of your VIN.

Not sure which moderator you spoke with on the previous question or questions. It appears you are under a little stress so let's not focus on the previous.

I need to ask a little more clarification on what you are saying. But first, it appears as though you are having a hard time trusting your ex with any repairs on your car. So to me so we don't appear to be getting in the middle here, let's handle this like we would anyone else that is having a hard time with the place they are having there car serviced at. How's that.

My first advice - change who is working on your car and don't let them work on it anymore. If you feel you are being taken advantage of, it isn't worth it.

Next - what do you mean - you think you have a leak... In what..... Your AC, tires, where exactly. By what you are saying it appears you are telling me he put something in your AC to make it blow cold air because it was leaking. Is this correct?

Next - Is the AC/heater blower fan not working at all or just on the driver's side or what exactly?

Next - Why was the radiator flushed out?

Next - the car runs hot - are you sure there is coolant in the radiator?

Please answer the above. Again, if you were taking it to a shop we would tell you to stop and don't go there.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
