The mechanic knows what hes talking about there is air in the lines to bleed this out you have to open the bleeder valve and let it stay open until you have constant stream of coolant coming out which means all air is out then close valve back

The bleeder valve could be in many diffrent spots but it is on the water lines look for a small valve that usually opens and closes with a flat head screw driver they are usually a brass color, look all over your coolant lines for this small vlave if you can't find it just let me know and I will further help you with this problem also I understand about money being tight but if you would like to help me other than a donation votes and feedback are greatly appercitated
