1994 Chevy Lumina wont start --sometimes

Will always start immediatly when cold. After driving for even short distance. Or long. Makes no differernce. Sometimes will not start. Acts as if no fire whatsoever. Simply wait 5 minutes.(Not 2-3-4) but 5 minutes, will always start, this only happens maybe 1 in 50 times, temp, weather, distance driven, or another thing seems to make any difference, just sometimes will happen, usually not. Have replaced ECM, seemed to resolve problem, then after couple of weeks, it did it again.

When it wont start, need to check for spark and fuel to see what is missing. It could be a bad crank sensor, cam sensor, or relay. Has the check engine light ever come on? If so have it scanned there may be a code in the computer memory to help figure this out

I agree Jack, also the weak link could be the ignition control module, or connections to it. Here's the locations by engine size and VIN:
