Water leak

2003 Impala, 97000 mi, get water on the passenger side front & rear floor after a heavy rain, not driver side front. Inside of doors and windows are dry, seats are dry

I had this problem and it was the weather stripping right above the cabin air filter. Follow the instructions detailed in the owners manual to change the cabin air filter. You will probably find the weather stripping just laying there. I used a marine caulking and adhesive and glued it back in place. But, there was a lot of water in my carpet pad, and I had to remove the front and back seats and let it dry for a couple of days.
