O.K, smell issue #2. When heater blower is on, it intermittently emits a non-discript smell. (And it smells ONLY when I'm NOT around a certified technician) It's, not a sweet like coolant smell, there's no film on windshied either. It's more like hot sizzling wires. About to spark the gassy fumes. (Referring to my "smell issue #1- I sent alittle earlier tonight) and create a "Blazin' Inferno From Hell". (Or something like that) Anyways, when the blower is turned on the 1st level, there's nothing.I don't know when it stopped working. The 2nd level is weak, the rest seem to work properly. What do you think Mr. Mechanic Person? Just curious, generally speaking of course, how much $$ do people generally "donate" to the cause per question?

Donations are on a "what you want to give" scale. We dont require any amount. I have a feeling the funny smelll is going to be the fan speed resistor. It is mounted in the plastic box (HVAC plenum) next to or near the blower motor. If it isnt working on setting #1 then the resistor is probably out and it is creating the smell you are getting in the vents. Ill look for your other post about smell #1
