Is there a not too complicated way to either bypass or eliminate the "Passkey" system. I believe this to be my problem. At times vehicle thinks I am stealing it. Sometimes it will not start in "Park" and when it does start in "neutral" it runs for approx. 5 seconds. Security light comes on and vehicle goes to "shut -down" mode. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

I would not suggest bypassing it. If it is not starting tey this, turn the key off for 30 seconds. Crank the engine real quick and leave the key on. Watch for the security light to blink. Let it sit until the light quits blinking. About 10-30 min. When the light goes out, turn the key off for ten seconds then try to start. It this works you need a new pass lock sensor
