My 2001 has a busted head gasket and radiator. I have received a quote of $2500 to replace the radiator and gasket, and resurface the head. Is this a good or normal quote for the job + parts?

Hello,

Replacing the head gasket, resurfacing the head and radiator replacement requires decent amount of labor time. Which can make this expensive.
With repair of this size, it is always a good idea to get a second estimate from another shop. That way you can pick the best option for you. Given said that the price quoted is within reasonable amount from data across the country.

I have attached the replacement procedure below as a reference.
Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
