Checking modules becomes very hard when the problem is intermittent. I have run across a similiar situation and it truned out to be the ignition swith. The vehicle would need to be run with a scanner on it, and it would be necessary to record the freeze frame data when the stall occurs.

Hi jlmexico20022002@yahoo. Com,

I had the same problem with my 2000 Impala. It was as if someone would shut off the ignition switch.
It usually happened between 15 and 20 minutes during the first trip of the day and it always was able to restart after about 5 minutes of rest.

After a lot of troubleshooting, the mechanic found the Crankshaft Position Sensor was the cause. Once it was replaced, the problem went away. That was three years ago and it still hasn't returned.
