99.9% of the time. GM pumps usually die around 100k. Find the fuel pump relay in the underhood fuse/relay center. Put your fingers on it and have some one crank the engine, it should click, if so bad pump

If it won't restart, determine what's missing, the engine needs three things to run, Spark at all plugs, gas to all cylinders, and compression in all cylinders, tho an engine may run lacking one in one cylinder, it won't run very well! Yours sounds like a fuel delivery issue.

Put a new oem pump module into the tank,
had to install new wires. Not easy getting
it into the tank.
Replaced tank, added fuel. Did I mention that I had to take 25 gal out to drop that tank?
Fired right up !
Haven't done all the little crap yet.
Have new relays for the pump and crank,
will install them too.
Thanks jackson !

Response to your PM!Between 45-50 psi should be close, do you hear the pump run for 2-3 secs when the key is turned to ON?
If not check fuses and relay in the power distribution center under the hood.

2nd PM reply: OK you have the spec, so why ask me? If it's 15psi lower than required, try pinching the return line for a few seconds, does the pressure come back to normal? If yes, replace the pressure regulator.

The van was getting hard to start, and then after putting a load in it, and stopping, it wouldn't start for about 10 minutes. (We were parking on an incline with the back of the van downhill).

It ran fine for about a week, now it won't start at all - cranks, but no start. (We are parked on a slight incline with the passenger side of the van tipped slightly downhill). We have charged the battery after running it down from cranking, and it still won't start.

I haven't smelled fuel like it would if it was flooded, and once started (in the past) there was no problem with the engine running.

Any ideas?

First check for fuel pressure, without fuel you get no start. Check that out first and let me know what you find.

I didn't know how to check for fuel pressure, but did discover that there is no fuel coming through. So apparently it is the filter or pump. I tried to check fuses for various things near the engine block, and that didn't make it work.

As it is about 0 degrees, we will have to wait for the weather to be a little better to try to fix it. Thank you!

When it does get warmer, check for voltage at the fuel pump, if its good there and the pump isnt pumpin, throw in a new pump, if there is no voltage, check the fuses and relay's also could have a cut wire in the fuel pump wire harness.

Glad to help, you need more help ask again.

Put key in, turn to (2) position and everything sounds normal. When I try to start it just a loud click then everything goes dead. I move key back to (2) position. Then the instrument cluster/interior light module clicks loud sometimes and sometimes not loud, the reminder buzzer will fluctuate in sound, headlights, tail lights, brake light will not work, no lights on the inside will work, I move the brake light sensor around and it changes the sound of the clicking and buzzer. I then can move the main wiring harness around going into the pcm under the hood and it sometimes make the2 noises change and the lights work. I can pull the pcm large fuse out of the fuse box next to pcm and everything will go back to normal until I try to start it again. There is a strange power drain on battery while this is happening. Battery holds 12.8V normally. While this is happening the voltage will fluctuate 10.8-11.5. While it's acting normal voltage will stay about 12.8. I have plugged in a computer scanner. While key in (2) position it reads everything normal. When I try to start it the scanner goes dead. This started after the hydroboost was replaced. A lot of fluid had leaked onto pcm before hydroboost was replaced. It ran for about 5 minutes after hydroboost was replaced. I need any and all ideas anyone may have. I think it might be the pcm but scanner didn't show any P0600 codes.
