2000 Chevy Express V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 86000 miles
I just got a 2000 express van 3500 5.7 engine I notice that after I shut off the van the temp,fuel,oil gauges still register even after the key is removed when I put the to the on position they go down to zero I never had a car do this is this normal for this van thank you

If the problem is not in the dash, my first guess is in the ignition switch or the auxillaries relay (24) in the fuse block.
Is your ignition switch lose? put the key and try to wiggle...
if the ignition switch and wiring provided are good the dash may need to be remove to check resistance at the circuit board.
