I have to replace the instrument cluster with a used one. Does the odometer reading stay with the cluster or the computor? If it is with the cluster how does it get set to reflect the correct milage of the car.

Hello,

New cluster have to be programmed to match the old cluster odometer output. As the mileage information stays with the cluster.
This is something you will have to take to the dealer to get it done. They have specific equipment to do that task and record the info.
