My corsica died going down the road. After towing it home I found out I have spark and I can hear the fuel pump turn on. When it died ther was no weird noises either. Do you have any other idea where I should look? Is there any common problems that happen with the 2.0 with this many miles?

Hi:
Even though you hear the fuel pump, you should check it for pressure / volumn.

Is the check engine light on?

I have pin pointed the problem. The car did a miss fire out the exhaust side wich means it jumped time. I took timimg chain cover off and found out that the tensioner is basically gone and there are metal pieces from it chewed up. Any idea how to get it back in time before I take off gears and put new ones on? I see the mark on the crank small gear nut nothing is on the bigger one?

Yes, don't worry about it. Go to the "Timing Belt Marks" site on this page. Put your car's information in and it will show you where the marks are and where they should be when you replace the belt.

If you have questions or problems, let me know.
