I have fuel and spark at the plugs. Engine cranks but will not fire. I have replaced the icm. Could the crank position sensor cause ignition timing to be off?

If both fuel and spark is present-check the valve and ignition timing, this will lead you to problems
with compression and valves opening and closing at the wrong time/broken or jumped timing
belt/chain.

I pulled the front cover and the crankshaft to camnshaft timing is correct. No timing marks at the crank pulley. I am thinking of marking tdc on the crank pulley to see where #1 spark is in relationship to tdc.
