Hi all,

I'd like to firstly say thanks to anyone who can help me with this (hopefully) small problem.

Last night My wife was driving the car home, she swerved to miss a man standing in the middle of the freeway. While doing this she said the car spun at least once and she was kind of going backwards for a second before coming to a compete stop and then driving home (it was 1am and she didn't want to stop to talk to the strange gentleman).

There was apparently lots of smoke and the obvoius smell of burning rubber. This moring while driving the car, I noticed it was making a rumbling noise (seems to be from the front) and the steering wheel was a little shaky. It's more noticeable while driving above 50mph.

I checked tire pressure and the actual tire itself, those both seemd fine. It's a 2006 Cobalt. Less than 20k on the clock and in perfect working order otherwise.

Once again, any help would be great!

Ok, problem solved. I guess I didn't fully check the tires as the front & rear drivers side were badly worn over a 5in area.
