Chevy front tire

Shakes or Wobbles problem
2006 Chevy Cobalt 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 50000 miles

When I brake in my car, the front driver side tire shakes and makes a dry rubbing noise.. Any idea what this could be? I plan to take it to the dealership tomorrow to getan oil change and will have them check that problem then too. I just want a heads up on what the problem may be so that I can get an approx cost upfront.

Sounds like front brakes when u step on the brakes and ur rotors are warped u will get a vibration.Labor is 2hrs times shop labor rate which is usually about 80-100 per hr.brake pads are 102 plus tax and if they can't turn the rotors there 126.40 plus tax each.let me know what they find.
