I am a girl and have no nothing about cars, so might question is probably really easy; but my front drive side tire makes a rattling noise when I go over bumps or any uneven surfaces on the road. Also when I stop and the car front end goes down a little- it squekes. I just replaced the oil pan- because it had a hole in it (not sure how), but happened after I had to get my car towed. But like 2-3 weeks after the oil pan, the noises start. If you know what it could be, and about how much? It would really help me out!

When you had the vehicle towed they could of damaged something. Check the r/f lower control arm bushing, the seperate and come apart real easy. That will make a squeak noise because the control arm will rest on the cradle. Also check the link pin they get play in them and make a clunk noise, both of these are very common problems for this year cobalt. Post back with what you find
